21st Futsal National Championship Concludes After Four Days of Intense Competition!

2006 U.S. Futsal National Champions "MACSA" (U-10 Boys).
ANAHEIM, CA, July 24, 2006 -- The 21st USFF National Championship concluded Sunday, July 23rd after four days of intense and exciting competition. MACSA (Mexican American Community Services Agency) won six gold medals, making it the best performing Futsal Club in the history of the event. "Mario Gonzalez, Director of the club's Futsal program since its inception, deserves much of the credit for building an excellent program", said Alex Para, President of U.S. Futsal. The final game of the competition was in the men’s division, won by World United over DiBufala, by a score of 3-1. With the growth of Futsal accelerating so rapidly over the last five years, so has this competition. World United represents the fifth different state association to win the National Title in as many years. In the women's open category, “SoCal Futsal” from California Futsal South won its third consecutive title.
